Design solution
The IPS technical office, following the site identification by the Municipal Administration, proposed a solution based on the full product line + modular units, featuring 26 structures and covering a total area of approximately 2,600 sqm. The inclusive play and motor skills path follows a figure-eight layout, with zones dedicated to each individual play activity. The project was completed in a single phase.
Value
The introduction of an inclusive playground—completely new to the area—allowed the Municipality of Fontaniva to stand out for its social awareness and forward-thinking vision, while also revitalizing a residential urban area previously marked by signs of social deterioration. The inclusive park has become a flagship initiative, supporting educational and socialization programs that now attract visitors not only from neighboring towns, but also from other regions.
Funding
The Municipal Administration received a dedicated grant from a banking foundation, with the remaining funds covered through municipal resources.
